 ગુજરાતી          વાણીનું મહત્વ 

વાણી, એ ભગવાને આપેલી એક અદ્ભૂત દેન છે જેના વડે તે પોતાના વિચારો, ભાવનાઓ, ક્રિયાઓ અને પ્રતિક્રિયાઓ લાગણીઓ દર્શાવી શકે છે. આ આશીર્વાદ ઈશ્વરે પશુ પંખી કે જાનવરોને નથી આપ્યા.

 વાણી એક અદભુત અને મજબૂત    શસ્ત્ર છે જેના થાકી જો મનુષ્ય ધારે તો સંબંધોમાં મીઠાસ લાવી શકે અને ધારે તો વાણીના શસ્ત્ર વડે મોટા યુદ્ધ પણ કરાવી શકે છે. આથી જ કહેવાય છે કે, " ચડે પડે માનવી જીભ વડે ". 

મહાભારત જેવું લોહીયાળ યુદ્ધ પણ દ્રૌપદીની કઠોર વાણીનું જ પરિણામ હતું. તલવારના ઘા તો દિવસો જતા રૂઝાય જાય પરંતુ કડવી વાણીના ઘા જલ્દી નથી રૂંઝાતા. જેના પરિણામો સમય જતા ભોગવવાના આવેજ છે અને તે ઘણા જ ભયંકર હોઈ છે. આથી જ કહેવાય છે કે બોલતા પહેલા  સો વખત વિચારવું જોઈએ. 

વાણીને પણ પૈસાની જેમ ખુબ સાચવીને વાપરવી જોઈએ. આથી સંસ્કૃતમાં પણ કહ્યું છે કે,  સાચું બોલો પણ મીઠું બોલો. કોઈને સત્ય પણ મીઠાસથી  કહેવું જોઈએ જેથી સામેના માણસને વાત પણ સમજાય જાય અને ખોટું પણ નો લાગે અને સંબધો પણ ના બગડે.

Importance of speech 

Speech is a wonderful gift from God through which he can express his thoughts, feelings, actions and reactions.  This blessing was not given by God to animals or birds. 

 Speech is a wonderful and powerful weapon that can bring sweetness in a relationship if a person is tired and can even wage a big war with the weapon of speech.  That is why it is said, "Ascends with the human tongue".  

Even a bloody war like the Mahabharata was the result of Draupadi's harsh words.  The wounds of the sword heal with the passing of time, but the wounds of bitter words do not heal quickly.  The consequences can be devastating. That is why it is said that one should think a hundred times before speaking. 

 Speech should also be used sparingly like money.  Therefore, it is also said in Sanskrit that speak the truth but also speak sweet.  One should also tell the truth sweetly so that the person in front understands the matter and does not feel wrong and the relationship does not deteriorate.
